“Rhythm Science” was an interesting read because it was structured differently than most books and included a mix of visuals and typography. I liked that the reoccurring concept (at least from what I picked up) was the thought of mixing things up. Just because we live in a structured environment where things tend to flow in the same rhythm doesn’t mean we can’t take elements from different areas of the flow and mix them together to create something new. After all music and art would not grow if people did not think outside of the box and experiment. I think that there are elements of the world we are in that vary in significance from person to person but creating something new is about taking those elements that are enjoyable to you and applying them in new and exciting ways to create your own happiness. If someone else finds joy in your work then that’s even better.
